Privacy policy

AUTELYX collects only what it needs to identify a vehicle, generate your report and keep the free tier fair.

What we collect

Account information: your email address and, if you choose, a display name.
Vehicle information you submit: listing links, screenshots, VINs and the details you type in.
Reports and inspections you generate, so you can reopen them later.
Payment records from our payment processor. We never see or store card numbers.
Limited security signals used to stop abuse of the free tier. These are stored in hashed or pseudonymized form wherever practical and are never sold or shared for marketing.

How we use it

To identify the vehicle, run the analysis and deliver your report.
To apply your plan's entitlements and record credit usage.
To keep the service secure and prevent fraud and free-tier abuse.
To measure product use and campaign performance. Advertising measurement and optimization use Meta Pixel only when allowed by your advertising choice, regional requirements and applicable opt-outs.

Retention and your choices

Reports and saved vehicles stay in your account until you delete them.
Security signals are retained only as long as they remain useful for abuse prevention.

Meta advertising cookies and your choices

We use Meta Pixel for PageView, free-result ViewContent, CompleteRegistration, InitiateCheckout and Purchase events. Meta Platforms receives browser/device information, IP address, page URLs, advertising cookie identifiers and the actual paid report value and currency, for advertising measurement, attribution and optimization. We do not intentionally send vehicle details, account email or other customer matching fields, and we do not enable automatic form-data matching.
In regions requiring consent, Meta Pixel remains blocked until you accept advertising. Elsewhere ordinary tracking may run without a banner, but we honor explicit rejection, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If your region cannot be determined, we ask before loading Meta Pixel.
Open Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject advertising at any time. Withdrawing stops future Pixel events immediately, including in other open tabs; it does not undo data already sent to Meta. Essential sign-in, payments and reports keep working regardless of your choice.
Your advertising choice is saved on this browser with a pseudonymous visitor reference, region, timestamp, notice version and notice text. Prior acceptance evidence is preserved if you later withdraw. Checkout records a reference to the advertising choice for that visit; Purchase is sent only when that choice and the current choice permit it. Events blocked when they occurred are not replayed after acceptance.
Meta processes received data under its own privacy policy and Business Tools Terms. Advertising cookies can remain until they expire or you delete them; clearing browser storage also removes our stored choice. Contact support@autelyx.com for privacy requests.

Third parties

We use service providers for hosting, database, payments, vehicle data and AI analysis. They process data on our behalf only.
We do not sell your personal information.
